I suspected this in the beginning, swung the other way, but am coming back to this conclusion. Trump is running about the shittiest campaign that someone could run. He really has to know that the media will use every single comment of his, whether real or not, whether justified or not, to smear him 24/7 in the news cycle. I have grown so cynical about the level of corruption we have seen that I cannot discount what OP is saying. We know about the election fraud, we know that the vast majority of our politicians are criminals, and we know that one of the 2 candidates may actually be the most corrupt politician ever.

I have never voted for an R or D in my life, early on it was because I stumbled upon a book of genealogy which showed all presidents sharing ancestry and/or their wives. I realized early it was rigged, but it's taken years of knowledge and experience to figure out just how corrupt the system is.

I wrote in a candidate the last 2 cycles, and that candidate was actually the front runner for a while who was completely shut down by MSM. So if you look at all the data available without bias, it's hard to come to a different conclusion than the one presented.

I wasn't sure about the Hillary/Trump alliance until after the convention, when Trump started in with the inflammatory rhetoric. It is now obvious that Trump is playing the role of the "scary redneck" in order to bring the Democratic base home. The general election is all about base turnout and winning independents...Trump is smart enough to know that.
