Are there any movies/tv shows that illustrate what the afterlife looks like?

I've been looking for movies/tv episodes or videos of what it might look like in the afterlife and can't seem to find any. I imagine perhaps having a spiritual transparent body in a world similar to ours but much more beautiful. The only video I have seen that depicts any sort of afterlife scenario is the reanimation of Ian McCormack's NDE. Also, i'd like to find videos of what it might look like living in the 5th dimension (supposedly after the 2012 event). So if anyone knows of any videos like this then please post a link to them. Remember, i'm only looking for video's that show what it looks like to be in the afterlife or in the 5th dimension - not ones that just talk about it. Thanks.

It's just a movie and I don't know until I get there, but What Dreams May Come is enjoyable. I don't think anyone really can say.

In the original Star Trek series there's an episode where the Enterprise somehow travels into Earth's history and Kirk & company witness one of the NASA rocket launches. At the same time the Enterprise crew discover another person from the no so distant future--an intelligence agent--who's involved some intrigue around the NASA space mission. It's an interesting episode because it shows people from different time periods interacting. I suspect something like this is the truth behind much of so-called spiritual phenomena. Immortality might a subtle perception of how the past and future are entangled in the present. It might not be the case that we have an immortal spiritual essence. So this is an important issue that people would be wise to seek answers for, and in my opinion seeking answers in religious belief isn't the way to find truth.
