Would you rather be a vampire or a werewolf?

vampire i guess, you get immortality, still it would suck balls not being able to go into the sun.

Werewolves get to enjoy the sun most days in the month. Only a couple days they are affected by their condition. And they get to tap into unimaginable power!

Certainly a vampire because thy are always in control and aware of themselves. Sure they are slaves to their thirst but they get cool abilities like mesmerizing,flight and mind reading.
With werewolves it is suggested that they are not in control of themselves when they transform, and have little to no awareness of their actions while in that state so could cause unknown destruction.

I'm not. Take a look into CRISPR genes, AC. They're being promoted as the cure to cancer in a hurry. If they can radically change DNA so easily then the genetic applications for CRISPR designer genes are endless pretty much.

You can become a Hollywood movie-esque werewolf, or anything other type of animal or chimera of your choice. CRISPR genetics is what Hollywood has been giving us for decades now in the form of the "forced transformations into something else" Predictive Programming, AC.

It's not killing the fantasy when you can physically and legitimately become your fantasy. The real question then becomes "Is it ethical and moral to become something else?".

I guess I just prefer the "classic" werewolf scenario. Dude gets cursed, turns into a wolf, changes back. No genetic fuss or muss. No worrying about if my DNA is going to breakdown if the chemicals aren't mixed right. No getting stuck permanently as a monster. Just a good old fashioned wolf-out for a few hours.

Ah. I get ya. The ol' guilt-less type of thing. Not bad.

I guess these things are better left as fantasy. Whenever humanity tries to bring it to life, it's always a disappointment.
