The Tulip Poplars (our state tree) are dropping leaves when it rains, Oaks are aborting acorns. I haven't checked Walnuts (my favorite) yet. We lost most dogwoods years ago, with our Dogwood Arts Festival a big event still each spring. Quoting: hillbilly Thank you see, this came to me Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But he gave us signs in the seasons |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 72717834 United States 08/15/2016 10:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It was in June I received 'time has sped up." Yesterday I saw Pecan Trees dropping pecans at my church , I kinda freaked at first knowing late Sept to Nov is harvest time. When I looked at all the pecans the first thoughts was "time has sped up." Quoting: Goofy for God God's time is not ours and He can do whatever He wants with it. He is showing us. Someone walk by and said they are just stressed, my thought was ,yes the whole earth is stressed. One of the most important stories in Scriptures is about a tree. Our trees started to change colors this weekend!! We are outside of Toronto. |

If your in the drought or stressed area, it's not an odd occurrence. I've seen "fall" come early in times of drought here. This year, my chickens are molting a bit earlier than usual. Maybe a month early. Maybe a sign fall is going to be a bit earlier this year. Fine with me. I'm sick of the heat. But, over the years I have noticed that the seasons seem to be coming a bit earlier than in years past. Of course you need to be of a age to take notice of this kind of stuff or at least plant a garden on a regular basis. Most city folk aren't in tune with the changing seasons. |

Duncan the destroyer User ID: 72493129 United States 08/15/2016 11:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Spring and early summer here in Idaho started wet and everything(tree, bushes, flowers) loved it,now we've had two months of no rain and I can see things are stressed to the point that leaves are starting to fall on some trees but I think that is a natural result of the heat. Manosteel User ID: 72434413 United States 08/15/2016 11:15 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Everything is pretty normal here. Walnut trees behind my house are loaded, my neighbors apple tree is drooping down with so many apples on it. The oak trees up on the hill are full of acorns. Looks like a good year. We have had a good spring and summer here in "West-by-God-Virginia"...rain has been regular but not too much. We have had a few heat waves come through (3 or more days of 90+ degrees)...the days have been "tropical" for the last month. Hot, high humidity and crazy high dew points. lots of pop up thunderstorms passing through dumping rain. But I think that just means all the small family farms are going to have a bumper crop year. and that is always a good thing. Only idiots hate facts |
