knowing this, he in turns knows his strength

will keep the fight standing

and greatly his chance of victory

The white man has superior strengths

but also weaknesses

But due to their pride, they refuse to acknowledge any weakness

So therefore, they won't know their true strengths, and how to take advantage of them.

Using the MMA analogy, this would be like a stand up fighter, who pridefully but falsely, thinks he's also good on the ground, but will end up getting beat there.

You won't humble yourself to realize your weakness, and therefore will never truly know your strengths and how to best take advantage of them.
