Question on Google's Location History GPS--Can My Girlfriend Turn It Off Without Me Knowing?

My girlfriend gave me her phone several months ago when I broke mine. She didnt realize it but she left her gmail account on during this time.
I havent bothered checking her location history until recently (and she has probably caught on). Yes, I do suspect something but I try to ignore it.

My question is this:

When I turn on my "Location History"...it shows all of the devices attached to this account (my phone and my girlfriends phone)

We have ours accessed to ON. But I noticed that you can 'turn off' where it says

"Location is___(On/Off)" where you dont have to show your current GPS even though under "Location History" your device can be switched off.

My question is this:

My girlfriend is a bit aware that I too may have access to her current GPS.
Is it possible that she can turn off her "Location" settings while still leaving the "Location History is On" without me knowing?

She has master control to the account.
I actually turned OFF my current location while leaving on the Location history and it shows what im doing.

From what I understand, even though im just another device accessed, I would still be able to see if she turned OFF her current location while leaving her Location History to on. Am I correct?

When I do this on my device, it shows my Iphone and Her Samsung

On her Samsung it shows that her Location History is on, I just hope that she didnt turn off her current location settings and I wouldnt be able to see that.

From what I understand, i think it will show that.
If thats the case, then that makes me feel a bit better.
