You love Muslim people, and you want to witness to them. But when you talk to them about Jesus, they say, "Jesus was not God's Son! He was just another one of the prophets." In fact, they are likely to challenge you with the question: "Where did Jesus ever claim to be God's Son?"

The question is vital, because they are taught that Jesus was a prophet of God, and that prophets do not lie. Where did Jesus Himself make the claim to be God's Son?

The answer is right there, in God's preserved words. Don't try to use a corrupt modern version, it will let you down.

In John 10:36, Jesus said, "Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?"

Obviously, Jesus was being accused of blasphemy for claiming to be God's Son. Where did He say it? In the previous chapter, John 9:35-38, where Jesus had just healed the man born blind, and the Pharisees cast the healed man out of the synagogue.

"Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshiped him."

Ask your Muslim friend, "Only God can receive worship, right?" When he says yes, reply "Then Jesus clearly claimed to be God. Only as God could Jesus, who cannot lie, receive worship."

There will be several discoveries that point to the historicity of the existence of the one we call Jesus! However, there will never be found an original document that supports the doctrine that He taught!

Talmud contains self-righteous (non Holy Spirit filled) traditions (rituals) of the pharisees (high priests) which Jesus hated (those false teachings or additions to his law or bypassing his laws by some justification). But it also contains records of conversations as well as spiritual insight from respected elders. It's not false. The Jews (and me, a Gentile Christian) are commanded, to the consequence of eternal destruction, to always speak the truth. Look into the Talmud yourself, don't look at anything out of context but do your own further study.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

The Lord Jesus himself later confirms for us that we MAY know the hour of his return.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Revelation 3:3

The reverse is true. IF you WILL watch, you WILL KNOW what hour the Lord shall come upon us. Hour is more precise than a day and a month and a year isn't it?

Yet it can be as subtle as this, I say the Lord Jesus will return on the DAY October 8, and the hour MUST be the last hour of the Jewish day which is around 8pm(? I don't know) Jerusalem time, and now that you've read that you can deny it and yet still contain the knowledge of the day of the Lord's return.

I can't IMAGINE being someone who isn't being saved. SCARY! I will do ANYTHING for the Lord, for myself, to ensure my salvation. Will you?
