I reported someone who glorified the Charlie Hebdo attack, and facebook responded by saying it doesn't violate their community standards...

I'd say that's quite a screw up in policies if you ask me.

Facebook tried the same thing with me, they were asking for government issued ID to verify my account. I asked friends if they had received the same message and none of them had.

I never really got too involved with facebook, but that was the last straw and I haven't been back since. Four years and counting.

Yup, OP, it's happening to many of us. I was banned from Twitter for promoting a pro-Trump Second Amendment group because the groups' founder posted several videos of blacks attacking whites with know comments. And none of the comments I could discern made threats or disparaging remarks.

I went on fakebook this week after shutting my account down a long time ago. My daughter left hers open (had a reason for going on). I left feeling dirty and depressed. Her age group is 30ish. These people were morans, part is the company she keeps but some were family. And it's a-okay to spew leftist propaganda all day long. Conservatives be damned. God help us if they will be running things.

I felt this was crazy but the same thing happened to me, twice. Once during Ebola and we were bringing patients here; again when right after Prince died and thought it was too much of a coincidence that China died same day and one of the recent videos of prince I watched he was talking about chemtrail and

Then someone happened to hack my account at the same time and actually sent my mom an I citation to be my legacy account holder whatever that is...I definitely felt scared and felt like my friends list was being used to snoop.

After.about six months the account had been posting about Ebola was available to me again, the other still waiting for a govt issued ID

Gonna throw this in. So when this happened I also was sent a PDF file, it said from anonymous. And it was those papers thst go around abiut the meetinf minutes for a group who was developonh aresolized vaccine 'funvax'

To this day I don't know what it all meant but you can bet they are looking at your friends and their friend etc very closely.

Be careful, I don't know what their game is yet but I have ceased political activity on Facebook completely.
