If humans were to catch them red handed at full moons when they commit satanic blood rituals i would like to see their excuse then lol.

Note also in the medusa myth, perseus went to court too with the medusa head to get judged and he used the medusa head to kill everyone in the court! Which story gives away that satan/lunar boss will try everything he can even at court to escape or even kill his enemies/the ones who will judge him and make an example out of him/her!

I think similar thing was shown in batman vs superman when superman again had to show up to explain himself in a court like environment, lex luthor who symbolizes the super intelligent crazy mind of the lunar boss had placed a bomb there and killed everyone except the snakeman of course.
