Sorry, but it is NOT proof to the sceptics, although I DO regard it as adding weight to the claims of Szymanski, Cottrell and Story. Firstly, the documents are signed by what the sceptics would regard as the hoaxers! They are NOT signed by any politician or government official. Any hoaxer could fax a letter to government people and then present copies as proof that his claims were genuine, when of course they are not. No doubt, many people with bees in their bonnets about some issue do this all the time. I agree that no lawyer in his right mind would hoax faxes addressed to vice-presidents, etc and then put them on the internet. But sceptics are an irrational bunch. They think people are capable of doing anything mad until they see absolute proof in the form of a reply to such a faxed letter that recognises its substance as true.

So we still await the smoking gun.
