Twitter is apparently working on a hate speech filter - and not a moment too soon
In the wake of the Leslie Jones racial abuse scandal, the social media giant takes action.


As the fallout of the Leslie Jones racial abuse controversy swirls on Twitter, the social media giant is preparing to take action.

Twitter is currently developing new tools that will help its users filter out hate speech and other kinds of abuse in the news feed, according to Bloomberg.

This tool will allow users to take action before ever seeing the abusive language in their news feeds - similar to Instagram's recent comment moderation tool which filters out unwanted subjects or words.
