Lets see, we had Fast and Furious gun smuggling to Mexico....
Why can't we do the same to the Philippines. Give them all the guns and defense weaponry that they will need. Hell sell them some planes so they will have an air force. Send over some medium range ballistic missiles and the THAAD system. Then let them have a go at it with China. Let the Philippines take the brunt of the bombing and we just step in to help out in the last second...
If China tries to take out Guam, then we nuke them to the stone age....
