Magnitude 7.1 Earthquake - NORTH OF ASCENSION ISLAND (18km Deep)

With two hurricanes in the region, no coincidence!

My alert said 7.4

Geoscience Australia has it listed as a magnitude 7.1

M7.1 North of Ascension Island.

I wonder if EMSC will upgrade it from the initial 6.8?

Pretty huge difference there.

They keep upgrading it... USGS says 7.4 now.

They put it back down to a Mag 6.9 (USGS)

This could be a pole shift pivot point if you buy into the theory that india will will be one of the poles after the shift

some on said on a thread earlier there will be three earthquakes over 7 and one would be in the usa i think they said in the next 24 hours? I dont know what thread lol I dont even know if that was exactly what they said

Yeah, it's surprising that there aren't much interest in many places, as if there is a control media.

Ascension Island is an isolated volcanic island in the equatorial waters of the South Atlantic Ocean, around 1,600 kilometres (1,000 mi) from the coast of Africa and 2,250 kilometres (1,400 mi) from the coast of Brazil, which is roughly midway between the horn of South America and Africa.

Ascension is a geologically young formation, the tip of an undersea volcano which rose above the waves only a million years ago.

It is associated both with the Mid-Atlantic Ridge plate boundary 80 km to the west and with a hotspot 25–300 km to the south east.[4] Its last eruption may have occurred in the 16th Century. Due to its short above-water history, its soil consists mostly of clinker.

Have a close look at it on G/E. A few huge towers and arrays. Some totally weird shit on that island, especially concealed in the shadows..

looking on google earth, this quake is 600 miles from ascension island, and looking at the historic EQs on there, this one is the largest recorded quake in that area

Ascension is an island of volcanic origin, 34 sq. mi. in area, 700 mi. NW of St. Helena, through which it is administered. It is a communications relay center for Britain, and has a U.S. satellite tracking center. Pop. (1993) was 1,117, half of them communications workers.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the United States Air Force operate a Meter Class Autonomous Telescope (MCAT) on Ascension Island for tracking orbital debris, which is potentially hazardous to operating spacecraft and astronauts, at a facility called the John Africano NASA/AFRL Orbital Debris Observatory....
