Native language or English? WTF? Home language survey | |
| pmb1 Offer Upgrade  User ID: 72578769  United States08/29/2016 04:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Kids brought home their paper work from school today and their was a new paper in their discussing home language. It is called the home language survey. Your answers have to be one of the following: A: Understands only the Native language and no English B: Understands Mostly the Native language and some English C: Understands the Native language and English equally D: Understands mostly English and some of the native language My issue is isn't English the Native language? I mean we live here in the US and it is the only language that we can speak WTF. I told the school I do speak the Native language it's called English and they need to go back to their damn country. They even have the nerve to ask if your kids were born in the US and if not in what country. What in the hell is this shit. Never have they ever asked any of these questions before. Damn it the US is going to hell in a hand basket real fast. Now what language is my native tongue again if it isn't suppose to be English?  |

Now they are saying that English I guess is suppose to be your second language. Not right at all to those of us whom are true Americans. |

Actually I am native American frrom Maine, so yeah I know some Native language not much however English has been spoken here for many years and should be the Native language. |
