Greetings, some questions about a dog vs. Dog attack.
Some neighbors were passing by with their two Pit Bull mixes on leashes. They stopped and we made conversation about our pets. while talking to them about their dogs I told them about my one year old husky and that she loves to meet other dogs and play, I asked them if their dogs were playful and they said it would be okay if we brought my husky out to meet their dogs.

My friend went to grab my husky out of the house by the collar to bring it down to put it on the fixxed yard leash. Unfortunately as he got out the door the dogs all got excited in seeing each other, my husky being very playful jumped up in excitement and broke loose of his grip on her collar.

At that point my husky approached the two dogs looking playful but things turned aggressive very quickly and it happened literally in-between my legs. Being right there I immediately had my dog restrained by the collar and head, My friend and I at this point tried picking my dog directly up into the air and the other two dogs continued attacking.

My dog had not bitten another dog yet due to the fact I had her into the air. She was extremely stressed due to the fact she was being bitten and it was impossible for me to do anything but restrain her while the two pits leashes completely entwined around my legs and frantically biting my dog. one of them was fully latched in lockjaw on her buttock and shaking it's head viscously just next to her tail. She was being bitten very hard I could tell and being caught in the mix of leashes and dogs and myself actually bit in the back of my calf at this point.

I just thought it best if I just let my dog go and try to jump out of the way and hoped the dogs could sort it out or at least allow my Husky a chance to defend herself. holding my dog into the air with her belly and bottom half completely exposed while she was getting bitten by two dogs looked like a very bad situation and It seemed like I was the only one in control of my dog at this point. this was causing both her and I injuries to no end.

When I dropped my dog to the ground I jumped out of the leashes and kind of tripped/fell to the ground and quickly righted myself. As I turned back around my dog now on her own legs had spun around and started getting the best of one of the pit bulls. She wanted revenge on the lockjaw attacker and went at hard while the other one continued it's side attacks.

I immediately jumped back in with my friend and restrainined my dog again. My friend spent some time separating another lockjaw attack this time at the base of my dogs tail.

I quickly carried my husky inside as they left with their two dogs. This was 2 days ago. Today she came and handed me a Vet bill for $572 and said she doesn't think that she needs to be paying this and asked me if I would pay the bill. I apologize to her about the incident asked her if her dog was okay and exchanged phone numbers. This is where I'm at.
