He is exactly correct though. If trade stops and the elite can't make insane profits to enslave us, they will start a war. A big one.

Yes, you might have to pay more for your new tv at first, but people will finally start having jobs that aren't sucked away by the Chinese, who are feeding on their own. The corporations who are used to making insane profits will be replaced by the corporations who are content with a lower profit margin. And the war mongers will be stomped out. The war mongers have the weapons. Only as long as globalization continues. You can NOT introduce globalization onto a world with an uneven playing field. The only time globalized trade should EVER be introduced to the world is if every country has the same basic wage, and the same basic regulations. Otherwise, is just a free for all for the rich to pilage the poor.
