Gary Johnson recently backtracked on his call for supporting a carbon “fee,” which he touted as a “free market solution.” Ditto for his mis-statement on forced vaccinations. This was a major gaffe from the Libertarian candidate, and it may have cost him some support among hardcore Libertarians.

Donald Trump tweeted, “I will not support or endorse a carbon tax!”

He also tweeted, “No more massive injections. Tiny children are not horses–one vaccine at a time, over time,” which is a policy endorsed by Dr. Ben Carson, the former Republican presidential candidate and neurosurgeon.

Gary Johnson is a just another democrat. Has 0% change at winning.

I've been saying that for awhile now.

The backbone of the libertarian party is personal freedom and responsibility. Some of the policies Gary Johnson supports are not in line with that ideology.

Trump's stance on several topic shows he leans more that way than toward more regulation, more government and more taxes.

I don't know what the guy has been smoking, but his positions are not good on most things.

I hear people balk at immigration regulation as if it is an antithesis of Libertarian beliefs.

I disagree. If you have no border, you have no country. If you just allow anyone in that wants to stroll in...you get chaos, anarchy and crime.

Oh well...I have been a registered Libertarian for years...and I am voting for Trump.

Gary Johnson isn't even a Libertarian. He's working for the Democrats. He wants open borders and is anti-gun and pro-TPP.

If it came right down to it, I'd vote for Jill Stein before Johnson. At least she has enough sense to be against the TPP, which would destroy our sovereignty and our Constitution.

Think about it, if Ron Paul himself was the libertarian candidate, that would take about 35 to 40% of the vote mainly from which party?

I think he is intentionally throwing the race. Whether its because he was paid or asked to do it doesn't really matter, because even the best candidate would not force a lot of the republicans to vote for libertarian.

What would happen if the republican vote got split and the democrats were united? That's right, Hillary would become president.

So before completely throwing a human being under the bus, simply try to think of this as a good thing.

It is all about the Narrative they are trying to craft. They will try to say, "dissatisfied Leftists, will vote for Stein, while dissatisfied Rightist's, will vote for Johnson".

They want to shift it, so, the "dissatisfied vote", costs Trump more then Hillary=Hillary win.
