I was thinking along those lines. Certainly they have mechanical hearts that are superior to a real one by now.

He is the final elite generation that will not likely live forever, but those still in their 60s and under will very likely have that option. Most of us will be able to upload our conscious brains into technology at any age.
Eventually they will have a way to end the aging processes at whatever point a person choses somewhere between 24-45, after that the body starts to deteriorate naturally. Until 24 you're not even full grown yet, one reason why top Gymnasts tend to always be teens; their bone density isn't matured yet.

Reptilian bloodlines don't age the same way other bloodlines do. If he's a cloaked pureblood, they do live supposedly for thousands of years, so according to whatever theories you lean towards, his conscious mind will live forever; all of us will. This particular human form he's taken will not, but the next generation of Rockefeller's very well will. What the hell is he doing to wear out so many hearts? Maybe it is the nerve tissue that is rebelling against him. What a miserable existence he must live in. He can't be much more than an invalid.
