Perhaps it was sloganeered by millenials who didn't understand what they were cribbing. Also saw "In your guts you know he's nuts" which was a 1964 slogan used to keep Goldwater out of office, because he would have stopped the Vietnam War escalation. A shrink, Ginzberg, claimed Goldwater was dangerous -- and it worked. The fear today is no big war in Europe/Ukraine vs. Russia and in comes NATO. Trump would block that.
