14-Year-Old Shot Grandmother Because He Didn't Want To Go To School

According to ABC, Hunter Riley Reeser told police that he shot his grandmother in the head because he didn't want to go with her to a school meeting that morning.

Hunter's grandmother Sandra, who was also his legal guardian, had gone to work at 5 a.m. Tuesday morning before coming home at 8 to take him to a scheduled meeting with the school counselor, Erie News Now reports. Sandra, 50, told her grandson to finish getting ready while she waited for him in the car — it was then that police say Hunter aimed a gun from the porch and killed her. Hunter then called 9-1-1 and held the phone to his grandmother's mouth so that the operator could hear her trying to breathe.
