So many theories...haven't heard all though. Here's a couple I thought of..

(1)Emails were compromised..key staff member/s were notified by the "source" to deliver package or suffer consequences...the blackmailed or blackmailer assures it is filmed.. It was an uncontrollable kidnapping...

(2)The 911 decoy was for her to be seen in public as OK, meanwhile she's already had surgery or other medical care and needed more days to strengthen like a typhoon...

I have a knack of creating scenarios and get ban.. Let's see...
