By the sounds of it both Hot lunches and the alternative sammich with "govt Cheese" are equally lacking in any real nutrition.
So how does this work, a buddy of an education official gets a catering contract to the school and supplies the cheapest GMO garbage that can pass off as food and makes a profit under the guise of feeding the school kids.
It doesn't cost much more/less to send your kid off to school with a packed lunch that you know is good for them.
