Thinking about getting a Ruger Mini 14. Any opinions?

Mini-14 is also available in .300 Blackout.
Buy only Ruger magazines, I have had trouble with aftermarket knockoffs. There are gun accessory companies out there that have adjustable gas blocks and other options to dial in the accuracy of this fine weapon.

It can be modified by a gunsmith if you want to lighten the pull, but isn't necessary imo. I doubt that a barrel changeover to convert to .300 BLK is that simple. The gas block has to be adjusted as well for the .300 BLK.
