a few years ago i would have beed suspicious.. no.. it was our ancient WII battery that the fire inspector found... go figure....

And i accidentally came off my staph-3 meds to early.. i thought I was finished... but apparently I ahve to take them till I have the metal work taken out of my shoulder... goddamit....

gave me three repeats to collect asap tomorrow morning... so i'll be drunk till then ;)

She usually posts about John St. Julien. Lately he had gone to a Dr. who diagnosed Lyme and Babesia. I have not followed the story closely

I am asking for your help with my daughter.
She is 28 and lives with me at home.
I am not sure if her issues are a form of mental illness, emotional, physical, or if some “thing” has latched onto her. Maybe it is a combination of one or more. I am not sure.

We are driving great distances for expensive therapy every two weeks.

I have listed some of her issues below.

OCD
Trichotillomania (Hair pulling, picking at head)
Social Anxiety
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
PMDD: Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder
Adrenal fatigue or problems
Seratonine Levels are Low
Extreme Low Self Esteem
Self Sabotaging behaviors
Vegetarian to Extreme Vegan
New fear of eating foods, using products, or indirectly harming animals through using something that is not sustainable or eco-friendly.
Too many fears to list
Feels guilty about everything

Just my thoughts: feels guily is typical low cortisol, same AS low adrenal. Most other things could point to adrenal and low thyroid. Just get a copy of the blood tests and check them yourself.
Could be lyme in he mix, AS there actually is this allergy to meat that comes from lyme, they have a test for that, forgot the name.

Serenity, a few thoughts for you.

Was your daughter ever on birth control pills? Her progesterone could be imbalanced to her estrogen. That's my guess on the PMDD. (Been there; it's awful.) Buy your own saliva test online; don't fall for the doctor's blood tests. Search for doctor John Lee; see if it resonates with you.

A previous poster mentioned lyme. Yes, check that out. Seriously misdiagnosed. I had a guy friend with a scary myriad of issues somewhat similar to what you described. He even lost most of his thick dark hair in large patches in his late 30s. In desperation, he tried even the craziest alternative medicine stuff, but finally got better when one of them suggested he test for lyme. So a "regular" doctor ended up helping him, but only after her went on his long, expensive wild goose chase and got an opinion from someone outside of "regular" medicine. Such is life, I suppose.

I have mentioned this many times, but your local library should have the book, The Triple Whammy Cure. (Or buy it online; you can read the comments on amazon for a taste.) This changed (saved) my life when I had extended postpartum depression. Learn how to feed the brain to produce more serotonin. It gets pricey with all the supplements, but I swear it switched the lights back on in my brain.

If her brain is properly nourished, some of that therapy you mentioned might get to fade away. That's my hope for you.

If it's something more spiritual, I'll leave that to others with experience to help.
