Hi there! I have been missing your presence on here. I can relate so much to what you are saying. I have been shunned and then brought back into the family only to be shunned time and time again. Regardless of how many times I have been hurt and pulled away, the minute they show signs of acceptance and treat me well, I go back for more. So I understand the not talking to family members. I too forgive, but, I don't agree with the saying regarding sticks and stones hurting but words don't. It is quite the opposite for me.

Some of us are just more caring and compassionate than others. Even worse some of us are empath's and get hurt very easily. I don't recognize the world anymore.
