Regarding the photograph:
Let me get this straight...
The Photographer saw something in the sky, went into the house, grabbed the tripod and camera and appropriate lens, took it outside, set up the tripod, attached the camera, set the shutter speed and aperature (not to mention attaching shutter release cable) and the thing was still there?
Sounds pretty fishy, knowing what goes in to setting all of that up.
