Seen one about 45 minutes ago over Vegas, looked like space junk, white bright with sparks coming from it, seemed slower than a meteor.

It was very big, bright green, lit up the night like a firework and then a huge thunder about 20 seconds later.

A boom shook my house last year at about 4:00AM - turns out it was a house that exploded due to a propane leak.
My windows rattled, and the house was 7 miles away.

this thread reminds me of a scary dream i had about a week ago. i was outside, the sky looked very strange. as i looked up to look for the sun i found it, it was bright orange, but on the left side of it was the exact same object only seemed like 20x bigger and heading towards me/earth.. felt so real i woke up and didnt sleep for the rest of the night.

I live in Wenatchee Washington and clearly saw the media right before touchdown. I looked up when I was outside smoking and if you refer to my earlier post it looks like this spark when a Bic lighter flame is dying out falling to the ground. That's the best I can describe it. Spokane is very close to here and it's entirely possible that somebody who had a camera set up to photograph the sky would be able to get that shot.

Awww you missed it, were you sleeping? It shook my entire house and set the chickens off. The blast came from the north me. I am in tall deep forest so I did not see the blast and I was working on the frig at the time.

PS When you move in a different frig, do you have to let it set for 24 hrs before you turn it on like you do a deep freezer or did I just get a bad frig LOL ?

Newport and Oldtown are one small town except Newport is on the Washington side and Oldtown is on the Idaho side, the border runs through town. People within 15 to 20 miles of that area are reporting hearing and feeling the blast with the house shaking.

Was on Hwy 95 going south between Bonner's Ferry and Sandpoint yesterday afternoon and there were military vehicles on the road.

The odds are pretty slim, though amateur photographers do do stuff like that,my hubby, for one. Not saying it's not bs, just playing devils advocate. It isn't beyond the realm of possibility that someone had something set up, especially as we transit into fall. As for the cheesy logo, maybe the guy w ants to make the big time. He just got a great shot and everyone is looking at it. I would put a logo on it, too,if I wanted to become a professional photographer.

They do and if you have a digital slr set up it will take shots at set intervals and save them. It's a miracle shot,but hey,cool things happen.

Only if you laid the fridge on it's back or side, if you kept it upright while moving, you can turn it on immediately.

If you laid it down, stand it upright and allow the oil to flow back down into the compressor for 24 hours, otherwise you'll burn it up when you plug it in...
