#Orban announces that a bigger percentage of people voted against #EU migrant quotas today than voted 13 years ago in favour of joining EU

the situation is pretty delicate though, considering that the referendum was invalid according to the constitution... a voter turnout of at least 50% is needed for validity

Anyhow, a total of 3.300.000 said NO..... back in 2003, 3.000.000 said YES to the EU.... that vote was valid because there was no voter turnout margin specified in the constitution

I didn't know that. Shows how politicians rig the system to fit their agenda.

So, how many actually voted yes in yesterday's referendum? I haven't heard.

about 50.000 :)

There were also about 200.000 invalid votes, probably due to the fact that left-wing parties were telling people to either don't vote at all or give an invalid vote

P.S. Okay, so the official number of the YES votes is 55.555, 1,66% of all valid votes - pretty "weird" number if you ask me
