I'm not sure how you could interpret these as legitimate campaign contributions.

Between all donors we have 143,690,470,000 USD in TARP to 14 banks. Total spent 299,000 USD. This is over 25% of the total amount invested in TARP.

And to continue my previous point - if minorities were disproportionately affected (or targeted) for bad loans at inflated prices, wouldn't they be pretty pissed about it? Pissed enough to direct their anger at bankers, maybe even hold protests at banks nationwide? Protests make the news.

Except NONE of the info released was from The Clinton Foundation, but it WAS clearly from previous DNC and DNCC hacks.

Yesterday tons of threads slagging on Assange for not dumping on Hillary, but this dump doesn't even get noticed on GLP? WTF? I don't know if this is real or a hoax, but I would have thought people would be hungry for anything that might make Hillary and her cabal look bad. I did watch Twitter explode and now there's nothing. Why would twitter shut it down if there is nothing to see?

There really is nothing to see at the moment, other than the spreadsheet showing suspicious TARP numbers - which needs more info and context for the oversight folks to use in their inquiries.

It's not what anyone wants to hear right now, but it's a fact. The leak was largely the same stuff we already had. The guy said it was for the Clinton Foundation, but it turns out this entire new leak was just random DNC and DNCC files. The pay to play folder was just DNC research on potential pay to play actions by opponents.

Guccifer 2.0 and Assange need to stop fucking around with all this incomplete teaser data and just give the full picture already. At this rate there won't be enough complete data to do anything until after the election's over.

Even if that is so, just the fact that after the server debacle, and after the pre convention hack, it appears the dems still have no clue about how to keep information secure. That in itself is telling. Why would anyone think they will be any more careful if they are elected? That alone should scare the piss out of people.

I'm starting to wonder if that is the plan. Keep us waiting for some magic bullet that doesn't materialize. We have enough real scandals already proven to sink anyone else as it is.

That's what I'm afraid of too. We need to stop going crazy every time a leak happens, and instead look at the raw facts of the situation - and demand more clarity so what is leaked is actually usable. Otherwise this is the perfect method to use misguided outrage to coast through the election.

Congressmen stole TARP funds. It's huge. None of them will survive this. I've already plastered it on all of their home topix forums...just a matter of time.

Because it is fake. It is all stuff that has been released already. Even the hacker said it was dccc stuff on his twitter. They just repurposed the same names in those files and mixed in a bunch of stuff that has been available on opensecrets for years.
