No...it wasn't a dream...I was fully awake; watching tv. I know it sounds strange, but I shut my eyes and was suddenly 'watching' these events.

could you tell what city or what time frame?

Funny how crazy people have a dream and instantly think they have super powers. Get real.

It was the present...people were in dress shirts...business attire. More men than women...no children. So, it had to be the downtown of a major business center. I wish I knew more...

It had to be warm, as they were not wearing jackets or anything.

Well, it's unfortunate that I haven't found anyone with insight into 'visions'. I don't know what else to call what happened to me.

I am not claiming to have any 'super powers', lol...I was just minding my own business, and suddenly I was 'observing' a horrific event...as if I were watching a movie...except it wasn't a movie!

If it was real which I strongly doubt since only God gives visions and they are very rare and you are not even a Christian, you should be able to tell everyone where it was and what will happen. Validate it or just be thought as another deluded false prophet.

I have the same visions. God's coming back & shit has hit the fan. Literally lol

I shared this experience to hopefully gain some helpful insight into what happened to me....I have never experienced anything even remotely similar to this in all of my 50 years.

How was it different to just imagining something?

It was completely different...I was not thinking about any such thing...in fact, I was watching a reno show on HGTV at the time. Also, I was not IN this vision...I was observing the event.

I was very aware of my surroundings while I was 'seeing' this vision. I even opened my eyes to see what would happen; and all I could see was the tv again. I then closed my eyes and it was still there!

As I said earlier; I have never had anything like this happen to me before. It is difficult to find the words to explain what happened. I have done my best.

I have visions all the time, of different kinds.
The most prevalent kind of vision I have is: I see the reason "WHY" behind just about any scenario or situation as either I witness the scenario or it is described to me later.

I can "see" you zoning out just before the vision starts. This is a little telltale red flag. I'm being totally honest, and not trying to diss you or your vision. But that 'zone-out' situation is kinda like being too open about what is allowed to enter the mind. The problem is that in that 'zone-out' state, you don't get to control "what" you see thru the window, nor do you control "WHOM" is showing you the vision.

There are tons and tons of beings out there that genuinely want that scenario you saw, and will use the opportunity of someone zoning out to play mind tricks. The red flags are that you realise after the fact that you did zone out, and that DURING the vision, when you came back to awareness (that point when you say "WTF is going on here!") the vision ends kinda like a dream.

Visions from higher beings have a different feeling to them & they generally don't end with a start like that, because they don't begin from a zoned-out state.

Something else that popped into my head was that the people on the TV have a direct effect on the energy field of the people watching the TV.

Almost no one knows this: it's a really really bad idea to fall asleep with the TV on, or even to zone out or daydream with the TV on.
When you zone out, your brain waves change to a Theta range frequency. This is the frequency range that causes your subconscious mind to be the MOST RECEPTIVE TO SUGGESTION.

If someone on the TV has really poor energy field or other energetic/spiritual issues, it's super super easy for a person who is "Too Open" to absorb those issues simply by being in front of the TV while in a relaxed, receptive state.

I dabble in energy healing, and I've worked with people who have entanglement issues, entity attachments, even energetic implants that they received just from watching TV.

Thank you for your kind, thoughtful response. I read it several times,and would just like to say that I pretty much do the same thing every evening around 10pm. This was a very normal evening...the only difference was that I had that absolutely unprecedented experience. Also, I was so incredulous of what was happening, that I opened my eyes to see if it would stop...it did not. I closed my eyes and the 'vision' resumed. As well, I was calm and did not experience any fear or stress afterwards.

Well I very much appreciate your sharing those thoughts/insights, etc. I do understand that you have a high degree of knowledge in these matters; but I still must wonder why this has not happened to me before.
