Some people think the sun has gone from yellow to white. What if it is not the sun but US (humans) that have changed??

The sun is a star, in deep dark space it would be white, in Japan the land of the rising sun they always depicted it as red, the sun's colour changes due to earth's current atmosphere, so if it has gone from 'yellow' to white over the last 20 odd years it shows that it is indeed our atmosphere that has changed?
