I'm not anti-Alex Jones, I've actually always been a big supporter of him and his site. But I do think he's changed in the past year or two - I associated it with his divorce, but I also get the sense he's trying to go more MAINSTREAM and move away from some of his more controversial subjects or approaches. I notice he hasn't defended Wolfgang Halbig recently or devoted much (if any) time to the false flags in Orlando or Europe this past summer.

I rarely comment on Infowars but I just went to post a Discus comment and was told I was banned. This happened to me once before about a month ago when I was going to comment on something there, but the ban appeared to lift a few days later when I tried again. Now it's back again. I haven't said anything controversial on that site, just the odd Hillary bashing comment usually.

I'm wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this. Jones censoring his audience is very disturbing to me especially as he goes on about YT and Twitter censorship, etc. Well....he seems to be doing it too. I don't know how much I'd trust him at this point.

Do you folks see this happening as well and do you think he's changed over the past couple of years or so?

Bump for visibility.

I'm just curious what people think of Jones and Infowars at this point. You don't know who to trust anymore.

no, but you might want to let them know that their cant be bookmarked by anyone now..it will go to your bookmarks but link is always dead...only way to get there is to do a search and click that link...hard to tell if that's an attack on them or a ploy by them...

Interesting. I don't think their site is the best designed frankly, but I hadn't considered that they might be under attack. I guess this site is attacked regularly too.

It's not just the site though. I feel that Jones himself has changed, that he's pushing to be more mainstream. Maybe that's just me, I'm curious what other folks think.

No, I've never said anything about the Jews. I'm generally just a Hillary basher. Or a Trump rooter. I've never been a big commenter on his site in general, I usually go elsewhere, like here. If I comment on IW a couple of times a month, it's a lot.

No,can't stand it but HERE plenty of times when I state things a little to close to the 'tooth', OR my post with thread disappears altogether with the 'not in the data base.'

I have to say AJ and SQ are two of the people that brought me to GLP.

If it weren't for them I would still be a Brain-Washed Moron.

Looking back at their sites/information, it does seem to be lacking in certain areas, and agenda driven as well.

GLP is truly where the conspiracy rubber hits the road.

Re: Have you been banned from commenting at Infowars? Happened to me twice recently. What's up?
It might have been about the topic I was going to post on. IW had an article about Trump's Pussygate scandal being caused by Ryan and Republican insiders. I don't see it up now, but I might just be missing it.

I hate the idea that Jones is ALSO practicing censorship. Is there ANY PLACE on line where you can just go and says what you think, without using ethnic slurs or shit like that, but just express honest opinions about any topic. If there's one thing I absolutely hate, it's censorship.

I've had that happen here too. Some things they won't let you talk about. It's very disturbing. I really hate censorship. As long as you're not advocating violence or using rank ethnic slurs or personal info, you should be able to say anything you want, esp on conspiracy sites. If we can't say them in places like this....where can we?

I had it happen once seemingly at random. They must have immense pressure on their system and admins right now. They are growing fast and be they have a lot of shills and trolls to deal with.

I've always been conspiracy minded, probably for 20 years or more. For me, it started with the Clintons back in the 90s and seeing what absolute pieces of shit they were and how it all got covered up etc. I also realized back then that if people who are smart and well educated and well connected keep doing the same things over and over...it's not cause they're "stupid", or "badly informed" or "naive" or they "made a mistake". THEY'RE DOING IT DELIBERATELY. Because they want to and they get something out of it.

Like all the wars we've been in - Gulf 1, Iraq, now Syria - it's all about oil and gas. the hate about Russia...it's all about the goddam pipeline through Syria. the interest in Haiti...it's about their gold. etc, etc.

So I've been conspiracy minded for years, which is why I was drawn to AJ because I always thought...this guy thinks like me. Yeah, he comes up with a lot of great stuff I wasn't aware of, but a lot of the time, he confirms what I already suspect.

However, I am seeing gaps in the coverage now, more than I did before, and I'm getting the sense he really wants to go mainstream, which means he's going to leave some of the more explosive or controversial topics like Sandy Hook or the various false flags, alone. That's been very noticeable to me. And that leaves a lot of these individual researchers out on a ledge by themselves without the support of a big gun. What's been done to Wolfgang Halbig has been TERRIBLE. And I don't think it's gotten any coverage on Jones.

Also, this Ryan Pence thing has gotten no coverage....they talk about Ryan, but they don't mention that maybe Pence IS in on this too. I think we should consider ALL possibilities.

Seems like most folks have an agenda...AJ and SQ too.

There was a thread here a few months ago about Jones being afraid for his life. Maybe he's waiting to see who wins the election. He might be fearful if Hillary wins and there is the possibility that his family have been threatened. Maybe that is why he seems to be going more mainstream.

I quit going to SQ's site because I was tired of him moaning about Walmart. So I told him so and he emailed back that I should be ashamed of myself for defending Walmart, etc. I can't stand him now because if he feels so strongly, why doesn't he open up a store where poor people like me can shop? I care about sweat shops and globalism, etc., but when you can't afford to pay outrageous prices for food, Walmart is the only choice. I think he's a big blowhard and he wants it his way or the highway.

Sometimes I think it may be a case of someone spoofing your I.P. or I.D.

Since their is limitations to determine whether it is you, or someone spoofing you, they opt-out on banning entire ISP's or ID's.

The other thing to consider is that organizations of any size have to "hire" support help.

Just because you talk-the-talk, doesn't mean you walk-the-walk, this leaves subordinates that may pursue their own demon-laced agenda.

I completely agree with that. No one "likes" Walmart and we recognize it's a big heartless corp that does bad things, but the reality is....many of us have no other place to shop, certainly no place we can AFFORD to shop. Maybe if we all worked for the media we might be able to afford something else, but I can get cheap stuff at Walmart that I simply need, and we don't even have kids. Yeah, we do second hand and trading and stuff like that, but sometimes you need to buy something new and that means Walmart. Many people, esp rural folks, don't even have anything else near them. I hate the Walmart snobbery - for folks like us, it's damned if we do, and damned if we don't.

Your comment on AJ and fear is very interesting. I can understand that but if you're threatened I think the best response is to air it explicitly.

That is an excellent point, and I have seen that in various sites where I think it's the admins or mods pursuing their own agenda or vendetta rather than the site itself. It is interesting that IW banned me because I comment there so rarely. Maybe it IS a group thing and it's just not obvious as such.
