I would like to see Jacky Chan hired to improve the relationships with the Chinese.
He understands both populations and their political systems.
He speaks both languages.
He is respected on both sides.
He can make jokes in both languages and knows how to time them.
He is smart, flexible and resilient and not a fake or whiner.

Obama spent so much money on preparing them, it would be a shame not to use them at least a while before closing them for good.

No, the DOE needs to be abolished as well. We do not need a federal agency telling the states how to run their schools. This is why our education system is so fucked up as it is.

I dont care. The individual states operated their education systems just fine on their own before the DOE. If he needs to be appointed with the understanding that for transition purposes in abolishing Jimmy Carters atrocity, fine. But its a department that is not needed.
