To noisy at my current location Stonewall county, will go out and about later and see if I hear something. 22 miles from nowhere to be exact, just have to leave the plant first.

I'm in Central Cal, near Fresno

About 730 . Had dinner outside in weatherford . Heard what sounded like jets off in the distance . Also , noticed a large military presence in and between Mineral Wells and Weatherford on several occasions this weekend .

AUstin. saw a light that lit up the sky, I thought it was odd. Didn't hear lightning, or thunder...

but it "seemed" like a lightning strike, but I dont think it was....but im thinking, since you are reporting lighting....thats what it was.

>> Whoa ,,, Thanks for this report Yep that timing of 7:30 was when those folks were hearing it too and they said it had been going on for quite a while when they called my phone at 7:32 PM per call log. They are in Annetta area and described the rumbling as unusual & were concerned as to what might be causing this ? I sure don't think it was thunder -- well, not at least from ordinary rain storms as there were none close by this region and I checked Channel 8 radar right after hanging up phone = it showed some rain way down south of here - north & west of Austin.

We are all natives of Parker county for many generations & accustomed to the usual air traffic + the .mil flyovers from Carswell, etc. and the friends were firm that these sounds were not the norm for a Sunday evening out in the country! I live closer to the base and did not hear any significant air traffic going over as is normal on weekdays with routine practice flights and standard ops.

There is a fault line that runs through Willow Park and it likely extends southwards across I-20 between WP & Hudson Oaks .... About 15-20 years ago there was an earthquake along it and that caused a big laundslide from the hill along Sam Bass Road where it curves on the southern border of Sqaw Creek Golf Course = so hmmmmm ?

PS : If ya'll can, Plz give details in regards to the observed activity at MW earlier today - as mucho interest in such matters these days - TIA

Howdy & Thanks much for your reply. I'm assuming that your brother was in Peaster at that time period of the strange rumbling around Weatherford area. And I find this report highly significant as it is about 9 miles up to Peaster going northwest (from downtown W'frd) and then it is like 12 miles from the Courthouse east to Annetta = so that would be approximately 30 miles distance between those 2 reporting sites = WOW !!

Here's 2 questions: 1) what was time your brother heard rumbles & for how long did it last .. 2) did he think it might have been a bunch of planes flying in unison - perhaps cloaked or under the cover of a cloud deck (which friend has now added to the original report today, saying a strange looking 'fuzzy' appearing mass of high & thin clouds had slowly spread across the sky during the late afternoon and it grew darker with purple hues around sunset ,,,, there was some discussion about if those clouds could be created by chemtrails & used for covert ops or ?????
