A quick bible question .....
I never thought I'd come first to GLP for a bible question, but there are some people here who know their stuff, so I'll probably get my answer here quicker than anywhere else.....

Ok, who or who all .... when God told them what he wanted for them do do, said back to him something like "please, not me, don't ask me to do that God it's too big and I could never do that.... etc etc etc.

I don't know who this could have been in the old testament other than God telling Noah to build the Ark.

Did Christ say something to this effect when God told him what he was to do (esp when he was told that he was going to be crucified?)

Maybe Mary when she was going to be carrying and giving birth to Christ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Many times a Bible character said that to God. One was Moses. Another was Gideon.

Why is this such a tough issue for you? Lol.

You're probably talking about Moses?

From Exodus chapter 4 you read about how Moses didn't want to accept his assignment "Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”

The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”

Mat 26:39

And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Jesus always was. He is part of the Godhead and the Creator
of all things.

Jesus left glory and put on a tent of human flesh to become related to us (law of the kinsman redeemer) and to be the 2nd Adam, have jurisdiction over the earth as Adam was given.

The plan of salvation was exceedingly brutal but somehow is the prescription deemed required to redeem mankind.

I don't understand the whys and wherefores, only know that God understood what was lost and what was required to restore.

I don't agree about Yeshua's. He asked if there was another way, not saying that he could not do it.

I do think you are thinking of Jonah.
Here are some of the govt. (CIA, NASA, Military, University) documents used in Pastor Dean's message “Government Documents Admit Flat Earth:”

We can *try*, with our so-called "freewill", but it's an exercise in futility. His will is going to be done whether we cooperate or not.
