No. We can't. Its all lies; GPS is actually just black magic posing as technology. So is satellite TV. And NASA? The most expensive joke in history, instigated for reasons I could tell you but then I would have to kill you. The supposed laws of physics are lies; why, you have no idea how hard it is to cover up the fact that the atmosphere should fly off if we were spinning. Not as hard as hiding the fact that 1+1=11 from the math students, but close.

The word of God makes the claim . Since this is accepted as being as solid as the rain falling i thought people would have 1000's of simple ways of proving the word wrong , strangely they don't , some things are infallible after all ?

I suppose the sun and planets could be spinning about us, but it would have to move in funky patterns for no apparent reason. Google "epicycles" and explain why they happen.

As for proof that the Earth rotates, explain the coriolis effect and why almost all hurricanes and tornadoes in the northern hemisphere spin one way and almost all the ones in the south spin the other way. Here's a basic primer from Wikipedia.

I on the other hand am content with the many proofs of the workings of the solar system that even the ancients had rudimentary knowledge of by simple observation. A knowledge that was deliberately destroyed and repressed by religious zealots acting out of ignorance and overt political machination.

The problem you have is not only do we know so much more about how the solar system and the universe works but we also know more about how religions used dogma, fear and power to corrupt and subdue their 'flocks'

Lets do say that the Earth is stationary. Then what about all the other planets? That is the big problem OP. How about those other planets? Is it the zodiac constellations that rotate and not planets? This is the big problem is the fact that planets, including ours, are.. oh wait.. that is not axis rotation this is rotation around the sun.

Ok OP and others, show me that other planets rotate! How about the moon! the moon goes around the Earth but the moon does not rotate on an axis of it's own! At first it is ridiculed, then crucified and joked to death.. then is accepted as common knowledge. It is hard to get your head around people i know. How does it all operate OP? How is there sun rises and sunsets? That is the problem that arises. The sun goes around us like the moon does?

The formula for centripetal acceleration is a=(v^2)/r, where a is acceleration, v is velocity, and r is radius.

The speed at the equator is 463.9 m/s and the radius is 6378000 m. So, I do a little math and I get...

0.0337 m/s^2 outward acceleration at the Earth's equator. Compare that with the 9.8 m/s^2 acceleration pulling us back down, its not surprising that only physicists who set out to look for it actually notice the difference.

If you hover over the same spot in a hot air balloon for a couple hours you shouldnt be able to look down and see the exact same location the whole time. So how does the earth move but a hot air balloon can hover over the same spot for hours and not be miles away from where it took off?

Ever notice how golfers always check their lat-long and the precise direction of their shot before choosing their iron? Imagine the embarrassment of miscalculating the rotation and launching a ball against the spin at the equator vs with the spin at the attic circle. Find Polaris in the north sky tonight and mount a pvc pipe on the side of your house. Now consider the amazing speed that star would be traveling to match our spinning spiraling and zooming precisely without ever leaving the center of that pipe on your house. Why would Polaris at 400 million miles away rotate around earth and not the massive objects much closer. Maybe Job is correct. Smash some wax with your signent ring and look at the relief and upturned perimeter

OP are you talking about a geocentric model? Also can you provide the verses that state the sun revolves around the earth and that the sun is the same size as the earth?

All scientific experiments to demonstrate the revolving Earth have shown that Earth is stationary.
