Just found this info and wanted to share. Might be they are trying to correct whatever is causing the moon to be out of natural orbit. [link to www.geekologie.com]

So we've been hearing, off and on, for several years now about our moon outta "wack"!!

yeah..........blah blah........big yawn.

If it ever begins to "drop" out of the sky.....maybe then begin to.......and kiss.........goodbye. Until then REAL astronomers say "ALL IS NORMAL".....regardless of what you :nuttyp: woowoo's rant about.

Two days ago it was horizontal and in the WNW. In other words it looked like a smile and it was a bit to the right of due west... and this was in the evening.

Too far West early in the evening? So you don't know that the Moon is NEVER in the same place at the same time from one day to the next? That it rises and sets about 50 minutes later each day as it progresses through its phases? That the crescent Moon is always near the Sun? The Moon was exactly where it should be.

Still waiting for the explanation, why the "sideway" (horizontal) moon is in photos of 2006 and 2005, when it according to you happens only since 2007.
