Might be they are trying to correct whatever is causing the moon to be out of natural orbit. [link to www.geekologie.com] Quoting: crystaleen 150359So we've been hearing, off and on, for several years now about our moon outta "wack"!! ..........blah blah........big yawn. If it ever begins to "drop" out of the sky.....maybe then begin to.......and kiss.........goodbye. ITS TOO FAR WEST TOO EARLY IN THE EVENING!! .A I saw it at 7 it was already were the sun was at 4 pm. The moons been wack for 3 years. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27911435 Too far West early in the evening? So you don't know that the Moon is NEVER in the same place at the same time from one day to the next? That it rises and sets about 50 minutes later each day as it progresses through its phases? That the crescent Moon is always near the Sun? The Moon was exactly where it should be. If you have to insist that you've won an Internet argument, you've probably lost badly. - Danth's Law |

Still waiting for the explanation, why the "sideway" (horizontal) moon is in photos of 2006 and 2005, when it according to you happens only since 2007.
