I was wondering that, but people received the alert through both text and email. Are those two separate systems or controlled by the same alert system?

And now it's gone too. What's up with tinypic erasing stuff? To summarize, it was a BOLO issued by TX law enforcement stating that there were 4 white vans, 1 silver and 1 gold involved in the alert.

4 white vans, 1 silver and 1 gold. Each with a yellow and green cactus logo on the left rear door. Vehicles are described as recent model Mexican manufactured Chevy passenger vans with tinted windows all around. ...last suspected location...Roma, TX and Escobares, TX area.

This alert was issued in deep South Texas between McAllen and Laredo, along the Mexican border. However, the BP alert was issued yesterday, so these vans could be anywhere in the state by now and could also have changed their appearance.
