I used the official ranch dressing in its powdered form most of the time. It has a different taste from the bottled. It has become quite expensive in recent years... nice to have this recipe. I made ranch dressing from scratch once from cookbook recipe. This will be much more convenient.
Curious: Where did you find this recipe? I'm intrigued about the addition of saltine crackers. |

do you have any idea how much sodium we're looking at here ?
I suggest a light vinegar olive oil dressing base - with the non-salted spices above added per taste
you can whip it too if you like to make it creamy |

Thought this deserved a bump. Has anyone tried it?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80090688 Yes. It's delicious. I do use a bit more of the seasoning mix. Do use the full fat buttermilk for the dressing. I tried the dip today. Using full fat sour cream (Daisy brand). Chopped up a bit of cilantro as an added addition for nacho chips. |
