Multiple ruptures

Rapid field reconnaissance indicates that multiple faults have ruptured:

They are as follows:


1. Kekerengu Fault at the coast - appears to have had up to 10m of slip

2. Newly identified fault at Waipapa Bay

3. Hope Fault - seaward segment - minor movement

4. Hundalee Fault

Not sure, the Super moon is at perigee ,the closest distance from Earth at 06:22 ET, and plus 5 hours to switch to UTC, 11:22 AM, Monday UTC time;

The Moon is going to cause maximum gravitation pull above Africa, here ; and Africa is relatively stable tectonic , not many faults, just few NE , east African rift, actually is not far from that;
