Cabbie and I got to talking and at some point we pass Trump Tower and I say to my Son "That's Trump Tower."

That's cool, it would make me really happy to overhear someone say something nice about Trump, so far in my vicinity in the entire year I have run across 2 Trump fans in public.

I was in a similar situation, just yesterday, in NYC though, the Cabbie seemed open minded, but knew NOTHING about Hillary's past crimes and treasonous behavior - knew nothing at all from Watergate, or Whitewater, her various issues during her political interactions in Arkansas, her Whitehouse issues, Benghazi, and nothing about her criminal/treasonous email behavior. Shocking, I know. At that point I knew him to be a liberal, even though he seemed to indicate he was open minded.

I made the comment how many people in NYC were brainwashed from rags like the NYT, AP, etc. and that they have the wool pulled over their eyes.

Meanwhile, all the stupid fools standing in their crowds protesting Trump are just idiot sheep, not even knowing what they are protesting again.

The Dem party is in full denial, and they do a great job of convincing people to stay on the plantation.

Idiots waving signs about immigration running around there - I don't see them opening their homes and wallets to help those 'poor illegals' who only want a better life. They are glad to point to 'someone' else being responsible - some magical CEO or Corporation should be paying more to solve this problem.

We've all gone back into our silent majority hole. We come out on Twitter and GLP.

The cities are like that. I live in a big city too. All around me is crying and gnashing of teeth, friends telling me they laid in bed and cried all day, FB posts that they just don't know how to live, with hundreds of comments giving them hugs and sympathy. They know I voted Trump, but stare blankly when I try to explain. In their eyes they're calling me all the ists and isms.

I don't live in the south, but the other night a bartender told me, "He just catered to the Southern vote." In other words, he catered to the po white trailer trash with no teeth. Ha, right? I found it very offensive, but ya know, we aren't allowed to get offended.

Anyways, nothing fishy at all. If you live in a city you've been shamed back into silence. Or, you're speaking up (the two fans the above poster referenced), and living your life in perpetual arguing. Most people just stay silent.
