Yes this first installment will go to drug runner routs. That's where weapons and things like terrorists would come through with supplies using the cartels best routs . Along with drugs also obviously.

Feds will pick it up. They already have an open investigation on the letter he sent to FOX studios with white powder in it. That's a felony in and of itself. They can pick up on hate crime and hoax charges too. There's felony versions of charges of everything Smollet did.

Also the Chicago PD is pissed and actually asked for an FBI investigation into the person who just let Smollet free weeks ago because they saw this coming. So It's likely already started. They also publicly stated today they have a lot more evidence than what they showed the public and are eager to help prosecute with it.

This was done to try and change the news cycle.

So I guess the national emergency overrules the motion made by Congress and what the democrats did was just a symbolic gesture to be on the record saying they oppose it

I need to study how the National emergency affects funding and if it can supersede Congress. The hoops Trump has had to jump through is forcing us all to retake civics 101 and 102.

Another really good book is The Book of Lord Shang.

It shows the premise of communism according to a 3rd century BC agrarian society philosopher, proving that communism goes back to before Jesus.

It totally blew my mind to realise socialism predates the dark ages in ancient China... It's a little repetitive in the line and wastelands shall be brought under cultivation.

The Book of Lord Shang extols the virtue of a powerful state, by having a powerful ruler over a powerful military ruling an impoverished people like Mao's China before opening China to modern credit markets.

It's not everyone's cup of tea, but for history buffs and people interested in Statecraft I think it's a must.
