In Exodus: [link to biblehub.com] steps "be-ma-‘a-lot" (third word) to the altar are forbidden. In Ezekiel: [link to biblehub.com] steps "u-ma-‘a-lo-te-hu" (20th word) to the altar are commanded. Don't you understand that whatever that word might mean, the thing meant by it is forbidden in Exodus but commanded in Ezekiel. You, by your insistence on the temple's being a literal physical temple, are making the Bible a contradiction in terms! Who is slow? |
