Call local police and ask what's up.

Might work in some communities, but in Worcester you only call the police if somebody died or is about to die

First time I ever observed this. I have seen a shooting star once or twice but this was bigger, brighter and slower. It looked like a roman candle. A bright flaming white ball coming down from the sky. It appeared to have landed somewhere. I saw it at around 5 am while I was conducting an exterior round of a correctional facility. I thought by my quick research that it looked like a comet but people are laughing at that. Please let me know I am not nuts. I don't know what it was but it was not a plane or a shooting star? Look forward to your response. Thanks"

You live in MA... a gunshot is not a loud boom... if it were the sound of a transformer exploding or louder then it would be odd if it was reoccurring..

I've actually never actually heard a gunshot before, that's just what I thought it was because I was trying to be logical as to what it could have been. As to the person posting about some meteorological website, there was absolutely no flashes in the sky
