Magnetosphere simulation down?
Anyone able to get the current magnetosphere simulation? I am pulling up 'No images available' at [link to ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov]

Solar activity really low right now according to [link to www.swpc.noaa.gov]

I thought with all the Buzz Aldrin Antarctica stuff, movie Inferno talking about a visit from the sun's binary twin, I Pet Goat 2 predicting attacks tomorrow, etc. it would be interesting to monitor the magnetosphere.

Re: Magnetosphere simulation down?
Kind of getting interesting, isn't it?

Magnetosphere often goes wonky when solar activity is really high, but also when it's really low. And, when there are sudden, sharp energetic changes in solar activity.

They are always moving. If you want to read up on it, look up chandler wobble.
