Where is this mine?

Can't be in Australia, as he is driving on the RHS of the road to get to it.

It takes vocal cords to vibrate air, producing sound waves, as it exits the lungs. Or a pre recorded electronic device.

Who the hell would go into an abandoned Mine is my question.

Idk looks way too easy to get lost in those as it is, if I was in the middle of one and heard those sounds I would probably be assuming something much scarier than ghosts.

Yup.
 Quoting: #Geomagnetic_Storm#

anything specific in mind scarier than ghosts u mean?
 Quoting: fixxxer

Yes, one full of rabid raccoons and bats.
I have seen that before and yes they are scarier than ghosts.

Re: Creepy Sounds Captured in an Abandoned Mine
i recorded th sounds, amplified and reversed them

the last whispers sounds like "my name is faster than yours"

The patch before sounds like "hallucinated we saved"

the first bit when he says "whats that" i can't find anything, but the next time he hears something it sounds like "the secret/ sacred explains"

everything was amped up and reversed

So you decide to do a commercial for a flash light into a cave, legit. You go alone, uhmm. You go the night arrh uhmmmm, and why not when outside there is a storm.

I call bullshit. I do go alone in very dangerous places but "night and weather" are always out of question.

Btw it could be complex echoes coming back from some hall.

Fun begins around 12:08 into the vid... use a headset if possible, way easier to hear the "voices" or whatever it is..

I have the same flashlight as the guy, I was specifically thinking of mine right before he mentioned his. Great flashlight for $50 bucks give or take

Pretty creepy video.

Re: Creepy Sounds Captured in an Abandoned Mine
How many people commenting on this thread have actually been down a old disused mine? I have been down many up here in the north east of England, both tin mines and coal mines. Also done quite a bit of natural caving too. IMHO there is a different "energy" between natural and man made holes in the ground. Mines have a wired feeling about them which I guess is because humans have made them with blood sweat and tears. I'm not a believer in the paranormal but as I say they do feel different. I have never heard anything like this before. Some mines do give strange echoes that's not there all the time. You also do get strange air currents (especially in coal mines) It's amazing how the mind can play tricks on you in such places. Just sitting taking a rest and turning your lights of is wired and a experiance being sat there in the darkest dark you can imagine. But the ones thing I would never ever do is explore one on my own. For the pure safety factor if you injure yourself or there is a fall, you ain't getting out.

From the comments below vid -

"It is saying A 12:41 "CAN YOU SEE ME, I SEE YOU, CAN YOU SEE ME, I SEE YOU" while mixed with shouting "GET OUT - GET OUT - GET OUT" as it echos. It's mixed with other intangible speech... I am listening with a VERY sensitive headset. @ 12:13 "Turn on the lights"
 Quoting: Sandpoint Idaho

I actually separated this evidence into audacity and added amplification. One of them says "Get Out" Over and over. One says "Turn around, Turn Around, Turn Around".
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 47569117

Interestingly that would fit in with folklore about the knockers. Some miners considered them to be mischievous pests but others saw them as helpful, often warning of impending cave ins or other dangers. The spirits could have simply been warning him to get out to save him from a danger up ahead such as a loose ceiling ready to collapse or a wildcat in its lair.

Yeah, and why at night in the middle of a storm too! Takes a brave (albeit slightly stupid) person to do that shit...
 Quoting: Harley Chunnam

Indeed. Whether the sounds are real or not is a moot point, you could easily break an ankle and have no signal in there and you're fucked.
 Quoting: Sir France's Beercan

Agreed, extremely foolhardy to go alone and as for voices?? Do you REALLY trust a you tube guy?

This is SOOO easy to set up let alone the ease of adding extra audio to video tracks i am suprised so many are not more sceptical!

Anyway kinda interseting IF real but i highly doubt it...

UO was such a good game, and still is probably one of the most in depth MMORPG's ever made.

No other game has player housing quiet like UO.

I used to be skeptical too until one night I heard the back door of our house slam. Our dog went nuts and was growling and snarling, then we (my mate was there too) heard footsteps go up the backstair, along a corridor upstairs, across the landing above our heads and a bedroom door slam shut. The dog was a hard as nails jack Russell but he wouldn't go up to check it out so I had to go. There was no one to be found and most alarming was that the backdoor was still locked. The reaction of the dog proved it wasn't imagined in any way.

Re: Creepy Sounds Captured in an Abandoned Mine
You know, part of me wants to say this is the coolest flashlight commercial ever, but hearing that brought back a memory that I'm getting chills just thinking about even now. I wrote this message to someone a year ago, so here's a copy-paste..

"I was talking to my brother on the phone a couple of months ago and we started discussing night terrors for whatever reason. He said he didn't have them, but he had a recurring nightmare where he would stand in the dining room of our childhood home. YOu know, everyone has dreams of their oldest home. So, he tells me that, in this dream, he always sees this pale ghostlike old man just ominously peering into the home from outside, and it's always night out. As he's telling me this, dude, I see it clear as day, like the image is transferred to my brain from his. Next thing I know, I get this crraazzy chill and feeling of displacement, before his voice over the phone quiets and becomes distorted and overtaken by this low demonic sounding distortion. Sounded like something being said to me, sounding really threatening. Went on for a few seconds, and I'm just like 'wwwttttffffffffff.....' before the distortion and static ends and my brother comes back on the other end asking if I'm still there. I'm like, 'yeah, did you hear that?' He says, 'no, I was talking and then you went really quiet for a while.' I told him what happened and I had a bit of a problem staying focused after, so we decided to talk another time."

So, yeah, great Youtube vid, but man, it's bringing back memories of what had to be the most creepy feeling of my life. I didn't explain it in that message, but when I heard that voice on my phone, my body and head felt pulled out of this dimension. I don't know if that the was the adrenaline from extreme fear and creepiness, or if there was some sort of legit frequency overlap.

Still, thinking about buying that flashlight now.
