She knows that corporations are NOT going to just stay or leave depending on the market. They only care about making money and obviously aren't concerned about "doing the right thing". She may have brought down the "good old boys" in Alaska, but major companies like Carrier would laugh at her. It is sad but true and she needs to realize this. She's behaving like an Establishment Republican, though I know she's trying to appear to be the opposite. Last Edited by Isaiah 43:1-2 on 12/02/2016 07:05 PM follower of Jesus |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 72568602 ![]() 12/02/2016 07:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Another conservative is calling “crony capitalism” on Donald Trump’s deal with Carrier, albeit an unexpected one — Sarah Palin. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73535007 In an op-ed for the website Young Conservatives, the former Alaska governor allowed that the details behind the manufacturer’s decision to keep some 1,000 jobs in Indiana at the president-elect’s behest, rather than move them to Mexico, are not yet clear. But touting the value of free markets, Palin signaled her disapproval if it was a case of “political intrusion using a stick or carrot to bribe or force one individual business to do what politicians insist.” “When government steps in arbitrarily with individual subsidies, favoring one business over others, it sets inconsistent, unfair, illogical precedent,” she asserted. And in an apparent jab at Trump, whom she famously endorsed in a rambling speech earlier this year, she asked: “Republicans oppose this, remember? Instead, we support competition on a level playing field, remember? Because we know special interest crony capitalism is one big fail.” The op-ed is not subtle: Palin described such government intervention as a “hallmark of corruption” and “socialism,” and then compared it to policies of the Obama administration, which she regularly rails against. [link to www.politico.com] Crony capitalism is the corporation buying the government off to give them free reign to fuck over the citizens. Trump used what little leverage he has as a president elect, to keep the jobs here. Once he's president, he'll have even more leverage. Having a will to fight for his country against corporate interests is not anti-Republican, but if it is, that is just one more reason the Republicans have been a bunch of useless cucks. ![]() |

Corporate welfare is a bail out. A tax break is letting people keep their money instead of stealing it from them. Obama steals from honest people and gives it to dumb negros and wetbacks that pop out kids like a factory. I love it when you stupid fuckers chime in though. That’s not something that normally characterizes a democratic or republican form of government.” He added, “Frankly, it brings to mind the term ‘banana republic.’” Conservatives are worried Trump's Carrier deal could set a bad precedent [link to www.businessinsider.com] |

" This would have been true for so many years of NAFTA but not true today, with Trump, when reversing NAFTA trade policies. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23014272 Trump's gonna be pissed with her raining on his parade. There goes that Veteran's Affairs job that Sarah was in the running for. Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you meatheads? Nobody knows what they discussed. If all Trump did was lay out his planned tax cuts and explain how that would make it worth staying - fucking awesome. Carrier openly stated reason they were leaving was overbearing regulation and taxes. If/when Trump makes it happen, that shit goes away for EVERYBODY not just Carrier. You whiny pseudo-intellectual RINO cunts need to shut the fuck up for five minutes and let the man do what we asked him to do...then you need to go get a job in the private sector and learn how the world really works. Even if he did do something shady HE DID IT FOR US AND NOT GOD DAMNED MEXICO. Anybody pissed that Trump saved American money, jobs and industry is a fake conservative and a liberal asshole. Fuck Sarah Palin and her red neck dipshit low-rent McCain blowing bullshit. Cunt. Calling tax incentives 'crony capitalism' proves the retardation in her family comes from her directly. |
