They're sending probes to Mars. Just as they are sending probes to the Moon. Manned trips are expensive and nobody has wanted to pay for them since 1972. But they did go 9 times and landed on 6 of them.

Once upon a time I believe Man did walk the Moon, then I looked at the facts and enough said: It was a nice dream, once upon a time.

I admit that there are a few problems with the story of our moon landing. I recently saw an interview with a NASA engineer talking about the problems of travelling to Mars. He said a big one was figuring out how to get through the Van Allen Belt, without the radiation killing the astronauts.

I thought "wait a minute, didn't we figure that out almost 50 years ago?"

On the other hand, if NASA faked the moon landing to well, why not simply keep going with the charade, faking more and more missions? Why stop with the moon, if it was all fake?

Apollo was able to take a path around the belts (or above if you want to argue semantics). Due to the angle of the Moon's orbit and the angle of the magnetic field, that path is not always available. I've also heard it is not available at all for interplanetary trips.

This makes sense...the government agency sponsored/created by the US air force decided they will follow the demands of the public. Which in any case, since when did congress represent the American public opinion?

Anyway, the moon is THE MOST VALUABLE MILITARY HIGH GROUND THAT EXISTS. Your logic is telling you that our military industrial complex has 0 interest in establishing a beachhead on the most valuable real estate within reach?

i believe that we've made several manned missions to the moon.

i believe that everything released to the public re the moon was scripted and carefully rehearsed etc. evidently this is why folks who research/study what is available to the public believe it all to have been fake, hoaxed etc.

seems the reasons for why tptb and nasa would actually go there but faked what they released to the public would be so they could remain in control of it all, including reining in mass fear/panic etc. i figure tptb and nasa etc did not want the general public knowing about what they actually found, any of the surprises etc they found, encountered, or very likely what found them.

and i believe that those who went to the moon on the final trip were asked to not come back.

Congress doesn't like paying fr things that pay off 10 years down the road and get their successors reelected. They like to pay for things that pay off NOW so they can get reelected.

The VAB are based on the magnetic poles vs the geographic ones, so the belts are actually not aligned with the equator. (North Pole being way up in northern Canada, not over the Arctic Ocean).
