I mean don't get me wrong, there are a lot of extreme views and some heavy conspiracy theories posted from time to time, but for the most part, I come to this forum to get "real" news that I really can't find anywhere else. I've also gotten pretty good at distinguishing what's pretty far from realty and what's credible. I just feel the moderators need to change the description to something along the lines of "where people seek the truth" or "real news drowned out by the corporate media." calling this forum a conspiracy forum where people discuss lunatic fringe is just undermining the legitimacy of what I feel is a pretty credible site.

My take on that OP, is call it "crazy" or "fringe" so that the truth can slip in. I was thinking about Alex Jones the other day, he is literally the thorn in their side, but they let him continue because he comes off as lunatic crazy. So to him, he is a harmless nutter, but if he were completely mainstream normal conservative and speaking of truth, they would end him, because he would be no longer a harmless nutter. You see, it adds a safety net here, just being a "conspiracy" nut ball forum, because if it were dubbed "real news" or something like that, they would have shut the doors tight on this place long ago. Just my take on it.maybe i am wrong.
