Bob Hansler has been a long time Youtube survivalist and bushcraft teacher. On December 4th, 2016 we learned from his last video he is in the process of losing his eyesight. With over 200 Youtube videos on bushcraft, survivalist and primitive skills, Bob has an extensive background teaching individuals how to live and survive in the wild. I love to grow in my understanding of nature and feel compelled and fulfilled when I am then able to teach others. I am now a full-time YouTube Video Producer demonstrating Survival and Primitive Technology, Wilderness Skills, and Bushcraft for all experience levels. Really sorry to hear that. It will be an appallingly difficult journey for them. But becoming visually impaired was the most profound blessing, ultimately, for me. What he loses sight-wise, he'll gain in touch/hearing/smell whole new pure, true world opens up. Ibut that is close to ten years on. Hopefully he'll get the support and space he needs. And won't have to deal with the reactions of those around him. Every ounce of love , strength and straight up 'I will endure' to him.

Zapping fixes temporal arteritis, but if the retinal damage is due to blood starvation in the optic nerve you must act quickly because dead optic nerve cells don't come back.

Diet sodas, sugar free gum, and so much more. It turns into wood alcohol in your blood, can make you blind. That asshat Glenn Beck was losing his eyesight, he was told to layoff the diet sodas, his eyesight became better and only needs glasses, but we don't hear about his vision issues anymore.
